Currently we have three useful booklets on sale, available post free from the Sales Officer:

Passenger Train Services over Unusual Lines, 2016 Edition - £5.00
This annual publication by Richard Maund seeks to list those passenger trains in the British Isles which are scheduled to travel over lines or routes which may not be immediately apparent from published timetables or their public calling pattern at stations and thus giving the user the potential to travel over unusual or diversionary routes within the system or to determine which of various possible routes any specific train might be expected to use. This is the fifty-third year of publication for this invaluable reference work. Now in stock.

Guide to Minor Railways, 2016 Edition - £4.00
This is also an annual publication, now in its twenty-sixth year, by Peter Scott which seeks to list all railways within the British Isles other than those of the National Networks or Light Rail and Tramway systems operated by various Passenger Transport Authorities, which offer riding opportunities to the public. The range of railways is huge, from large preserved standard gauge lines, lengthy narrow gauge ones, through the shorter lines of various gauges with timetabled services, right down to those short facilities operating as part of public attractions or forming occasional public openings of otherwise private facilities. Length, gauge, location and access details are provided for the railways listed. In stock and available.
